Hello!

My name is Maizie, I am a recent Photojournalism graduate based in Illinois. My passion is documenting the lives and work of those employing innovative ways of caring for or providing mutual aid for their communities, alongside continuing to document the stories of current events and those who are impacted by them.

I do this by creating visual and multimedia displays that reflect and invite viewers to contribute or participate in their own unique way.

I strive to tell these stories using a combination of photography, writing, and audio work. My work can be viewed in the July 2025 edition of StreetWise, and has been exhibited In Portland Maine, and Chicago Illinois.

I'm available for documentary, event, portrait, and solutions oriented assignments throughout Chicago and the wider Illinois area.

Best,

Maizie Hummel-Logee
